From 2016 – 2018 I photographed protests against political parties and immigration bans, bigotry and racism. Not once during that time did I imagine I’d see the day when Supreme Court justices—appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote—would reverse a ruling supported by the majority of the country.

I feel incredibly fortunate to live in a place like Massachusetts where access to abortion is protected by law. I cannot describe the anger and sadness I feel for other parts of the country.

Last night, over 1000 people gathered in front of the Massachusetts State House to show their support for fundamental women’s rights. Here are a few images from the demonstration.
